Data set from the second wave of the Czech Education Panel Survey (CZEPS) of high school students, conducted in autumn 2024.
CZEPS is designed as a repeated (panel) questionnaire survey of high school students and their class teachers. The first survey was conducted among first year high school students (15–20 y. o.) in October and November 2023, and then every year thereafter for three/four years. The research is being conducted by a team from the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, funded by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic from the JUNIOR STAR grant entitled Dynamics of Adolescents' Attitudes Towards Outgroups (reg. no. 23-07283M).
The aim of the project is to investigate the role of education process, classmates and school environment on the development of social attitudes. The main research themes include attitudes towards outgroups, classroom friendships, wellbeing, views on the functioning of society, cognitive abilities, perceived school environment, perceived victimisation, sense of belonging to school and society, identity styles, and attitudes towards political participation.
DATA AND INFORMATION ON THIS RESEARCH IS CURRENTLY ONLY AVAILABLE TO THE PROJECT RESEARCHERS. AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THIS PROJECT, THE DATA AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO OTHER USERS OF THE DATA ARCHIVE.
