This dataset describes the temporal evolution of collaborations in Computer Science based on papers that have been published between 1970 to 2016. It contains several data files in CSV format which embody information such as the author of publications for each year, its citations and the papers it is cited by. It also contains the inferred gender information of all authors. The publication and citation details are taken from DBLP and Aminer datasets respectively. Dblp computer science bibliography is the on-line reference for bibliographic information on major computer science publications. As of May 2016, dblp indexes over 3.3 million publications, published by more than 1.7 million authors. To this end, dblp indexes about than 32,000 journal volumes, more than 31,000 conference or workshop proceedings, and more than 23,000 monographs.

No sampling involved. It contains all authors and publications that are covered by DBLP.
