Self-administered questionnaire: Web-based

The GE database is constructed by the Statistics Department of Banco de Portugal mainly using the information on Related Parties and Other Participations reported in the Annex A of Informação Empresarial Simplificadac (IES, Simplified Corporate Information). IES contains tax, accounting and statistical information and firms are required to submit it electronically to the Ministry of Finance every year.

The data covers the non-financial corporations operating in Portugal and the resident and non-resident entities related to them through participations in equity capital and voting rights.
