Dataset for: Factors impacting intention to use smart technology enabled care services among family carers of older people in the context of long-distance care (J5‐1785) Informal care of older family members or relatives in Slovenia and informal caregivers' attitudes towards new technologies.

The dataset contains original data for a wide range of indicators of informal care for older people in Slovenia. A sample of participants aged 40+ in Slovenia (N=781) was surveyed via an online access panel between 09/04/2021 and 06/05/2021. The questionnaire consists of several thematic sections: demographic information, health status and care needs of the older adults; caregiving situation, care burden, use of new technologies, attitudes towards new technologies, interest in the use of telecare, TAM questions about the use of telecare; perceived outcomes of telecare use; COVID-19 impact on the caregiving situation; demographic information about informal caregivers. The structure of the survey aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of factors affecting intentions to use telecare services among informal caregivers of older adults.
