A census of Spanish non-banks identified as FinTechs is provided, obtained from various sources, mainly the Spanish Fintech and Insurtech Association (AEFI), Finnovating and the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). The file contains just three variables: company name, trade name and Spanish tax identification number (NIF).

Source of data:- The data are obtained from the CBI database (Central Balance Sheet Data Office integrated database) which stems from the direct and voluntary collaboration of firms reporting to the CBA (Central Balance Sheet Data Office Annual Survey) and from the obligatory filing of annual accounts in the Mercantile Registers (CBB database). - The data are provided whether or not they meet CBSO (Central Balance Sheet Data Office) quality standards.
