Dataset for: Emotional Experience of people with schizophrenia and people at risk for psychosis: A meta-analysis of emotion induction studies

DOI

This data set contains the data for a meta-analysis on differences in the emotional experience after standardized emotion induction procedures of people with schizophrenia or at risk for psychosis and mentally healthy people. This meta-analysis included studies (k=111) comparing people with schizophrenia to mentally healthy people or people at risk for psychosis with people not at risk for psychosis on a measure of emotional experience (positive emotion [unipolar measure], negative emotion [unipolar measure], and/or valence [bipolar measure]) after a standardized, laboratory-based emotion induction using pleasant, neutral, and/or unpleasant stimuli. The data set includes files for 27 different meta-analyses (111... - 333...) with different combinations of studies of the overall study pool. Please refer to the Codebook for a breakdown of the rationale behind the file numbering and the content of the respective meta-analysis. The analyses of the referring research article can be reproduced with these data using the analysis code also published on psycharchives.org (see related objects).
