The Banco de España, in order to obtain information on the evolution of economic activity, as well as to provide a better understanding of the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the Spanish business sector, has designed a brief questionnaire to be distributed to a sample of companies selected by the Banco de España's Central Balance Sheet Data Office.

Source of data: The data comes from a quarterly survey of a sample of Spanish non-financial corporations in order to obtain qualitative information on the evolution of economic activity. These data have been combined with a set of variables of the companies surveyed from the information available in the CBI.
