The CNMC Household Panel collects information from a representative sample of households and individuals residing in Spain. It is a rotating panel in which participating households and their members answer questionnaires with questions about the sectors supervised by the CNMC.
Survey method: postal and online.
Population scope: population residing in main family dwellings. Survey aimed at persons aged 10 years or older.
Geographical scope: the entire national territory, except Ceuta and Melilla.
Field periods: second and fourth quarter of each year.
Sampling: poly-stage, proportional by size of the Autonomous Community and stratified proportional by population size, social class and number of persons in the household.
Sample size: About 4,500 households and 8,500 individuals.
