Im Rahmen des Websurveys wurden (1) die Prozesse der Zusammenarbeit in DFG‐Forschungsverbünden, (2) die dabei auftretenden Probleme sowie (3) die subjektive Einschätzung des Erfolgs des Verbundes aus Sicht der Principal Investigator und Sprecher untersucht. Themenblöcke der Befragung waren:

Initiierung des Forschungsverbundes und Auswahl der Verbundmitglieder Formen der Kooperation und (inter-)disziplinäre Verständigung Entwicklung gemeinsamer Forschungsfragen und Verbundziele Voraussetzungen bzw. As part of the web survey (1) the processes of collaboration in DFG research clusters, (2) the problems encountered in the process, and (3) the subjective assessment of the success of the cluster from the perspective of the principal investigators and spokespersons were studied. Thematic areas of the survey are:

Initiation of the research network and selection of the network members Forms of cooperation and (inter-)disciplinary understanding Development of common research questions and collaborative goals Prerequisites and procedures for the integration of research results Management and coordination of the consortium Decision-making procedures in practice Climate of cooperation, cooperation routines and behaviours Success of joint collaborative work Best practice in collaborative research Personal expectations of participation in the research network Socio-demographic data of respondents

DEKiF-Survey: Der DEKiF-Websurvey ist eine Onlinebefragung von PIs (Principal Investigators) und Sprecherinnen von Forschungsverbünden der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). Zielpopulation waren n = 15.594 Wissenschaftlerinnen, die in den Funktionsrollen der Principal Investigator (PI) und Sprecher*in an Forschungsgruppen, Forschungszentren, Sonderforschungsbereichen, Transregios, Schwerpunktprogrammen oder Exzellenzclustern seit 2015 beteiligt waren.

DEKiF-Survey: The DEKiF-Websurvey is an online survey of PIs (Principal Investigators) and spokespersons of research clusters of the German Research Foundation (DFG). The target population was n = 15.594 researchers who have been involved in the roles of Principal Investigator (PI) and spokesperson in research units, research centres, Collaborative Research Centres, Transregios, Priority Programmes or Clusters of Excellence since 2015.
